Soheila Rezaiian

Farokhi Sara was born on February 1, 1979 in Isfahan, Iran. Arriving in Belgium in 2003, she has lived in Brussels capital since. For as long as Sara can remember, her mother Soheila Rezaiian, a recognized artist in Iran, paints oil paintings in 3D realism-abstract style Sara. ;guess that she passed on to him her attraction to Art in general. A self-taught artist, she always had a strong attraction to watercolor but she didn't dare to get started due to lack of practice... Sara started with attempts in acrylic and oil painting but she came back to what made her heart beat... the watercolor that she paints and depicts in all its forms in her painting space located at her home.

It was in 2017 that Sara started learning watercolor techniques, the trigger was the purchase of a small postcard; a watercolor representation of a forest landscape which provokes strong emotion in him. This is how she fell in love with this painting. The mixture of water and pigments constantly surprises her; for Sara it is a route without fixed rules until the final result.

The whole sequence of events from laying the paper,    mixing pigments until the result allows him to travel and be moved while the magic works. It is indeed a question of a journey through colors, of a waking dream which lets him be carried away by his imagination towards an unexpected destination.

Her inspirations often come from her favorite artists: Anne  Blockley, Reine Marie Pinchone, Natali Dmitrieva, Morten Solberg, Chantal Jodin and many others she really appreciates
